The Perła Brewery Underground
The Perła Brewery Underground has been open to visitors since 2014. The walking tour leads through 20 production rooms, located at two levels, in which beer used to be made until recently. The sightseeing is done in groups of 12-15 people, accompanied by a guide. When exploring its nooks and crannies, visitors can discover the rich history of the brewery, and the events and figures related to it, while learning about the production process and the ingredients for brewing beer. They can also familiarise themselves with the former beer-production techniques and get acquainted with the Perła brand. One of the underground facilities accommodates a tasting room with a view of illuminated beer tanks, where visitors can try some of the delicacies currently made by Perła – Browary Lubelskie S.A. The exceptional location of the production rooms below the level of Bernardyńska Street, the multitude of nooks and crannies, the lighting arrangement, and the eye-catching exhibits, make the Perła Brewery Underground a place shrouded in mystery.
