The Zwierzyniec Brewery

Travelling 90 km to the south-east of Lublin, you will arrive at Zwierzyniec. This picturesque town is located in the heart of Roztocze, a tourist area where the present permeates the past. This atmosphere can also be experienced in the historic brewery in Zwierzyniec, set up in 1806. Its rich history, which has been re-commenced in 2013, makes this place appealing not only to beer lovers. This is where unique types of beer are made, available only in the brand stores, together with Zwierzyniec Pils, whose long brewing process employs the double decoction method. The brewery buildings comprise a Beer Drinking Room which is open to visitors, while a specially designed walking tour will allow them to explore the history of the brewery and the beer-making technologies. The visitors are also offered a variety of other attractions, including an exhibition of various kinds of malt, a barrel installation, train fragments, a brew hose and a fermentation plant. There is also an interactive table that outlines the brewery’s history, presents the highlights of Roztocze, and unravels the secrets of beer-making. Finally, the lighting creates a unique and intriguing atmosphere.
